Allendale East Area School
Welcome to Allendale East Area School – Courage, Excellence and Respect
Allendale East Area School was established in May 1953 to accommodate local students following the closure of several small, scattered primary schools in the region. In South Australia, an “area school” is a combined facility. It allows smaller country towns to have both primary and secondary schooling (Foundation to Year 12) on a single campus. Within the Limestone Coast region there are four such Area Schools.
Area Schools offer unique learning opportunities and at AEAS we are proud of how we design programs and experiences to suit the individual young person as they move through their schooling, especially in their secondary schooling. Our school grounds and facilities are well-maintained and resourced.
Our teachers are dedicated, professional and are excellent practitioners. They are well-established at Allendale and actively choose to remain at our school. Having a stable, experienced staff is valued by our parents and students as it allows strong collaborative relationships to develop and grow.

Acknowledgement of Country
We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land we are on and pay our respects to their Elders past and present, and extend that respect to other Aboriginal people who are present today.
